Break-ins at Cemetery Prompts Security Changes

A string of vehicle break-ins prompted Graceland Memorial Park South cemetery to boost security.

MIAMI – The Graceland Memorial Park South cemetery has upgraded its security following a rash of vehicle burglaries on the property.

Police said they had responded to the site for 13 incidents involving “theft from a motor vehicle’ in a six-month time span, Local10.com reports.

As part of the new security measures, the cemetery has installed security cameras throughout the property.

Additionally, management has boosted security patrols around the area.
