Lifetime’s Designing Spaces TV Show to Feature DSC Home Security System
Lifetime’s Designing Spaces will focus on home security systems.
DSC‘s PowerSeries Neo home security system will be featured on Friday’s episode of Lifetime’s Designing Spaces. DSC is a Tyco Security Products brand.
The PowerSeries Neo combines the flexibility of a modular, hardwired system with the simplicity of a wide range of wireless devices and peripherals, according to a company press release. The system also leverages the capabilities of wireless intrusion technology PowerG.
The home improvement show will feature a segment called, “Peace of Mind-What to Consider When Planning Your Home Security System.” During the piece, Tim Myers, Tyco Security Products‘ director of product management for intrusion solutions, will demonstrate how the security system works.

“In Designing Spaces, we introduce two new homeowners to their new intrusion system from the DSC brand,” said Myers. “The system provides the homeowners with the ability to protect their property through a monitored alarm system, but also gives them the ability to manage their home systems, such as lighting and HVAC. It also has the capability to transmit video from a surveillance camera located inside or outside the home to a smart phone or tablet.”
As part of the television segment, viewers will learn about the easy-to-use features that protect what matters most including arming and disarming the system, motion detector sensors and how they work, and the importance of a professionally installed and monitored security system.
