LOUD Security Lands Funds to Turn Up Its Acquisition Volume

Georgia-based firm gains Capital One’s backing to cover new deals, including three acquisitions set to close by June 1.

KENNESAW, Ga. – LOUD Security Systems, which earlier this month struck a multimillion-dollar as low-voltage systems provider for the new 1,400-acre Lakepoint Sports complex, has received a senior revolving line of credit from Capital One Bank. Although the amount of the credit line was not released, the lender says it will be used to fund growth opportunities including potential acquisitions that match LOUD’s commitment to customer care along with a strong company culture.

LOUD Security President John Loud tells SSI the company is currently in the process of working out three acquisitions anticipated to all close by June 1. “Our commercial team is geared for tremendous growth,” he says. “We see this revolving line of credit as an essential tool to take our growth – both organic and through acquisition – to the next level. Capital One has structured the line of credit to maximize our flexibility.”

Founded in 1995 and based in Kennesaw, Ga., LOUD Security designs, installs, monitors and services a complete line of security systems designed for intrusion and fire detection, access control, video surveillance, and home automation. The majority of LOUD’s revenues are derived from services to residential and business subscribers primarily in the Atlanta metropolitan region. The firm has approximately 60 employees and nearly 7,000 customers.

“We are very pleased to provide this line of credit to LOUD Security,” says John Robuck, managing director, Capital One Bank. “Over the last 20 years, John Loud has built a company with a track record of solid financial strength and exceptional growth, placing it in an excellent position for acquisitions.”

John Loud has emerged as a leader in the local business community, serving as president of the Kennesaw Business Association and the Georgia Electronic Life Safety and Systems Association. Recently, LOUD Security Systems was named the 2014 Small Business of the Year award winner from the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce.

“While this [winning the Cobb County award] was an exciting announcement and so proud for our LOUD team, 2015 is starting off with tremendous opportunities that make it look like we were relaxing on a park bench at the lake last year,” Loud says. “Exciting days are ahead for us LOUD people. We have a new construction residential division, commercial division and a traditional residential marketing division. We will now look to grow through proper acquisition opportunities in coordination with our continued organic growth.”
