weBoost, a provider of cellular signal boosters formerly known as Wilson Electronics, announced the Security 4G, a signal booster engineered specifically for integration with cellular-connected security systems.
The Security 4G provides strong, reliable network connectivity in locations where distance from the cell site, terrain features, or building materials like steel or concrete, weaken signals. Utilizing an exterior tower-side antenna to collect weak cell signals outside, the Security 4G amplifies them, rebroadcasting the amplified signals to an interior space so the on-site security system can reliably connect with its base station and vice versa. The result is the faster, more reliable transfer of reporting data, including detected security events.
The Security 4G is ready to integrate out of the box, and works with all North American and Canadian cellular service provider networks – including 4G LTE, 3G and 2G. It is certified in the U.S. by the Federal Communications Commission and in Canada by Industry Canada.
The Security 4G (part number 471119) is available now in the United States for an MSRP of $299.99 at national distributors including AVAD and Capitol Sales in Canada at Evolution and Provo.
