Security Sales & Integration is proud to introduce the Most Valuable Products (MVP) Awards to the industry. The program honors those products and technologies critical to the success of security integration companies.
“Security integration is a products-driven business. However, security integrators are bombarded with an ever-increasing array of products all touted as the ‘latest and greatest.’ This has made it exceedingly challenging for integrators to separate the chaff from the wheat and make the best informed purchasing decisions,” says SSI Editor-in-Chief and Associate Publisher Scott Goldfine. “To solve this quandary and better serve the channel, SSI has stepped forward to launch the Most Valuable Product Awards.”
A panel of experienced independent security integrators evaluated more than 60 new product entries to arrive at this year’s 28 MVP winners. They encompass the 10 main categories and subcategories of Access Control, Business Operations, Central Station/Monitoring, Fire/Life Safety, Home Controls, Installation Aids, Intrusion Detection, Miscellaneous Security Products, Security Apps and Video Surveillance. Each product was judged on its design, features and benefits, including helping integrators tap into new markets, perform installations faster and more cost effectively, or realize desirable profit margins.
Representatives from the winning manufacturers were formally presented with their MVP awards during the SAMMY Awards gala April 5 at ISC West in Las Vegas.
