MISSISSAUGA, Ontario—Camden Door Controls, a security system equipment provider that includes one-stop solutions for electric strikes, has announced its new CX-ED1959-MB outdoor-rated strike.
Camden Door Controls states the strike features heavy-duty stainless steel construction with an integrated ANSI square faceplate, and the company points out the new outdoor-rated strike is UL 294 listed to help support its grade 1 performance.
The Canadian company says that its latest product is compatible with cylindrical locksets and mortise locksets without deadbolts, and the CX-ED1959-MB strikes are specifically designed for exposed perimeter doors and gates.
Providing more details on the new product, Camden Door Control says the ‘universal’ strike design features 7/8-inch latch projection, as well as field selectable 12/24-volt DC voltage capabilities, and fail safe/fail secure operation. The company notes the CX-ED1959-MB also includes a heavy gauge painted steel mounting box at no additional charge.
Additionally, the strike is said to deliver continuous duty operation, and Camden Door Controls backs the door strike with a full five-year warranty.
