CLEVELAND — CertaSite, a commercial fire protection and life-safety company, announces it has acquired Fire Loss Control, a full-service fire protection business located in Brunswick servicing the greater Cleveland area.

The acquisition is CertaSite’s seventh in Ohio following its deal for Columbus’ Hamrick Fire Systems last month. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

CertaSite says it provides the highest levels of customer service, responsiveness, building safety and code compliance to customers across the Midwest by going beyond compliance, focusing on partnerships and professionalism while providing customers a simplified and dependable solution to managing all of the fire protection and life-safety systems in commercial buildings.

Fire Loss Control was founded in 1971. Its reputation will allow it to grow under CertaSite within its current customer base and expand into new markets, according to the company.
