ISC West 2025 Showcases Largest SIA Education@ISC Program

SIA Education@ISC program will feature an additional day of learning, new tracks and a record-breaking number of speakers and sessions.

NORWALK, Conn. – ISC West, the annual converged security trade event, hosted in collaboration with premier sponsor the Security Industry Association (SIA), will unveil its most expansive SIA Education@ISC program to date.

With more than 140 sessions spanning across four days and 290 speakers, SIA Education@ISC “offers unmatched learning opportunities, unites industry leaders and empowers global security professionals,” according to the event announcement.

Attendees can choose between a SIA Education@ISC 4-Day Passport for unlimited access to education or a flexible single-day pass. Conferees will also receive credit for their time at ISC West. SIA Education@ISC qualifies for CE hours with many relevant industry accreditation bodies. Certificates of attendance will be distributed to all professionals after the show.

New Tracks and Must-Attend Education Sessions

ISC West continues to demonstrate its dedication to impactful learning by adding several new education tracks in this year’s program. Among them are Critical Infrastructure and Data Protection and Workplace Violence and School Security, both of which will address challenges in today’s security climate.

Additionally, ISC West is debuting a partnership with RSA, introducing the IT for Security Professionals track. These sessions will provide cybersecurity and IT-focused insights, designed to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, break down departmental silos and drive solutions-focused discussions among key stakeholders.

Attendees can look forward to insightful sessions such as Cybersecurity 101, How to Talk to IT for Installers and How Infrared Sensors Work: Technical Deep Dive. This addition to the SIA Education@ISC program underscores a commitment to uniting security professionals across all sectors.

“This year’s SIA Education at ISC West conference program examines key growth and focus areas in our industry, including critical infrastructure protection, data privacy and safeguarding workplaces and schools, and these sessions are complemented by dynamic keynote presentations from experts in cybersecurity, retail safety and advancing women in security,” says SIA CEO Don Erickson in the event announcement.

Two Worlds Colliding: How to Prevent Cyber-Physical Attacks

On The Bridge, two worlds will collide in a special chief information security officer roundtable on cyber-physical attacks. Led by Deb Radcliff, a cybersecurity analyst and journalist and the author of the Breaking Backbones Hacker Trilogy, this discussion “will dig into the intersection of cyber and physical security and what it means for our industry’s future,” according to the announcement.

Exploiting AI: Harnessing Advanced Tools for Ethical Hacking and Cyber Defense

Participants will explore how artificial intelligence-driven reconnaissance techniques can streamline data gathering, vulnerability identification and system mapping, providing a comprehensive overview of the latest AI tools used in ethical hacking.

Inside the Threat Landscape: An FBI Briefing on Cyber Crime Trends in Private Sector

FBI representatives will provide insights into today’s most prominent cybercriminal activity and their associated tactics/techniques, including ransomware, business email compromise, insider threats and other sophisticated attacks.

Retrospective/​Future: What Does the Security Experience for Today’s Younger Generation Mean for the Future?
