LAKE FOREST, Calif.—Kwikset, a global residential lock manufacturer, has introduced its Midtown Collection of locks that feature its advanced SmartKey technology.
The Calif.-based company points out that its latest line of products was created with today’s design-conscious consumers in mind, as well as homeowners looking to update transitional homes, and DIYers searching for a custom look at an affordable price.
“The impetus for our new Midtown Collection came from the increased demand for modern designs with subtle curves and soft arches,” says Dalton Baca, senior product manager at Kwikset.
“This refers to styles that are slightly more transitional than straight contemporary lines. Consumers are looking for robust products that are more comfortable and practical; products that complement their homes better than purely contemporary designs.”
According to the company, after consulting with builders, architects and designers to achieve a style and security their customers want, Kwikset completed comprehensive in-aisle consumer research to ensure the easy-to-install Midtown Collection incorporated the designs, features and security which are most important to customers. Kwikset boasts that its latest products offer superior product durability and feel, and it emphasizes the Midtown Collection is certified highest residential security and finish: ANSI/BHMA Grade AAA.
The new series of Kwikset locks are now available in arroyo knobs, Tripoli levers and midtown deadbolts in satin nickel, polished chrome and matte black finishes.
