Vector Security Renews Sponsorship Agreement with Three NHL Teams

Sponsorship supports Vector Security’s hometown Pittsburgh Penguins as well as Carolina Hurricanes and Columbus Blue Jackets.

PITTSBURGH – Intelligent security and smart automation solutions provider Vector Security, Inc., announces it has renewed multi-year sponsorship agreements with the National Hockey League’s Caroline Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets and its hometown Pittsburgh Penguins.

As the official security partner of the Blue Jackets, Hurricanes and Penguins, Vector Security will receive in-arena sponsorship exclusivity in the home and business security categories, according to the company announcement. Vector Security has been a sponsor of its hometown hockey team since 2018.

The Penguins partnership offers Vector Security branding opportunities that include virtual digital signage in the ice and on the boards, branded metal detectors, LED and digital displays throughout the arena, including House Rules sponsorship before the games for brand exposure on television and social media and to the more than 800,000 fans that fill PPG Paints Arena for home games each year.

The agreement also includes radio advertising on the Pittsburgh Penguins Radio Network, digital advertising on pittsburghpenguins.com and the Penguins mobile app, 1st Period Stats collaborative social media campaign, game day and other promotional events, as well as additional benefits.

As a Hurricanes sponsor, Vector Security branding opportunities include in-arena LED digital displays, in-ice logo, branded metal detectors and title sponsorship of the Hurricanes Siren Sounder feature for maximum brand exposure on social media and to the nearly 550,000 fans that fill Lenovo Center for home games each year.

The agreement also includes digital and social promotion, radio advertising and other benefits.
